Review the Strategic Directions of the Business - A course that leads participants through the process of identifying where you want to be and developing a strategy to get you there. It can cover property expansion, planning to pass the farm to the next generation or off farm investment, all with a focus on developing a strategy to reach your personal goals.

Develop a Business Plan - Assists Management set goals for a planning period, prepare and assess a cashflow budget to accompany the projected plan, and test variations of the plan to assess the effect on the Business.

Using a Computerised Cashbook - To train in the set up and use of a Farm Computerised Cashbook to maintain financial records for an Enterprise and how these records can be used to make business decisions

Cashflow Budgeting - To train in the set up and use of a cashflow budget and apply these skills to farm planning and financial control of the Enterprise.

Budgeting - To train in the use of budgets as part of a Business Planning process including preparing gross margins, calculating returns on extra capital invested, and monitoring costs.

Analysis of Farm Performance - This course aims to monitor and evaluate business financial health and performance and identify parts of the business which require strengthening to grow profits or reduce risk.

Borrowing Money - To enable management to learn to analyse and choose between the different types of finance and choose the finance that best suits the Enterprise. Training includes the Preparing a Loan Application, assessing the costs involved and handling the Lender Interview. Also covered are the practical implications of using bank bills.

Phoenix Cashbook Recording - We can provide training in Phoenix Cashbook recording. Assistance can be provided for initial setup of the program and all categories and enterprises necessary. Further training in aspects of the program such as Budgeting, and usage of Debtors and Creditors accounts can be provided as necessary.
